Coifly previews a haircut on the face of the person using it. This is the short list of what falls outside that, and what happens when it does.
Whose face
The photograph you upload must be of you. Uploading a photograph of somebody else as the face to be rendered is not allowed, whether or not they agreed to it.
This is enforced, not only stated: before anything is rendered we check that the photograph shows one person, and a photograph with more than one is refused and deleted.
Do not upload photos of celebrities or public figures as the selfie.
What may not be uploaded
Sexual or nude imagery. Uploads are screened before rendering and refused.
Any image depicting a minor in a sexualised way. Beyond being refused, this is reported where the law requires it.
Images you have no right to give us, and images that are unlawful where you are.
Do not upload photos of minors.
Impersonation and deception
Do not use Coifly to make an image intended to pass as a photograph of somebody else, to mislead about who a person is, or to represent a Coifly result as an unedited photograph.
Every result carries an invisible SynthID watermark from the model provider, identifying it as AI-generated.
No face swaps, deepfakes, or likeness transfer. The product is technically unable to do this.
Access and resale
Do not automate access, script the generation endpoint, or work around the free-run limits with multiple accounts.
Do not resell Coifly output as your own service.
Rewards
Credits granted as rewards are for real use by real people. Creating accounts to award yourself credits, or otherwise gaming a reward, forfeits the credits involved.
Rewards credits are a feature of Coifly only and are not a referral or affiliate business.
What happens
A refused upload costs you nothing: no credit is taken and the photograph is deleted immediately rather than waiting for the 24-hour sweep.
Repeated or deliberate breaches end in a suspended account. Unused paid credits on a suspended account are refunded; rewarded credits are not.
If you think we have this wrong, write to support@trycoifly.com and a person will read it.
