Terms of Service

8 September 2026

These terms cover your use of Coifly. Using the service means you accept them.

What the service does

Coifly produces AI-generated previews of hairstyles on a photograph you provide. Previews are illustrations, not predictions. How your hair actually behaves, what your stylist can achieve, and how a cut grows out are all outside what a preview can tell you.

Bring a preview to a stylist as a reference, not as a specification.

Eligibility

You must be 14 or older. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you need permission from a parent or guardian.

Your photographs

Upload a selfie only if it is of you, or if you have permission from the person in it.

An inspiration image may show anyone, including a public figure. We read the hairstyle from it and delete it. You may not use Coifly to attempt to reproduce another person's face or likeness, and the product is built so that this is not possible.

Do not upload images that are unlawful, that depict a child in any sexualised way, or that you do not have the right to share with us.

Payment and credits

Your first preview run is free. After that, runs are paid for with credits, bought either as a one-time pack or included in a subscription. Credits from a subscription are granted each billing period.

Subscriptions renew until cancelled. You can cancel at any time and keep access until the end of the period you have paid for.

If a run fails to produce any images, you are not charged. If you believe you were charged incorrectly, write to us and we will look into it.

Acceptable use

Do not attempt to circumvent the free-generation limits, automate access, or resell output as your own service. We may suspend accounts that do.

Liability

The service is provided as it is. We do not guarantee that a preview will match a real haircut, and we are not responsible for decisions you make about your hair. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Changes

We may update these terms. If a change matters, we will say so in the product before it takes effect.
